The spa in Ružbachy charmed the polish aristocrat Zamoyský so much that he bought it in 1882. For his wife, the Spanish princess Isabelle, he built an exclusive White house on a travertine rock above the resort, copying one of the palaces in Monte Carlo. In the 1930’s the Spanish king himself and the prince of Bourbon visited the spa at Ruzbachy.
